Date Rape Drugs
You think you know someone, then the next thing you know you wake up and can't remember what happened the night before. Most commonly this is effect of Rohypnol, also known as the date rape drug. Rohypnol goes by many street names: Roofies or rib and rope. By either name it's called it all has the same forget-what-you-did-last-night effect. Most of these drugs are used by people trying to get someone to do what they want, most commonly sex.
Rohypnol is a pill that dissolves in liquid and in usually dropped in someone's drink when they're not looking. Some ways to keep safe from being a victim of this drug would be to keep a close eye on your drink and never put your drink down then pick it up again. Even if it costs you another drink, buy a new one rather than picking up the one you started.

Drugs and Child Custody
During a divorce, if one of the parents is under the influence of drugs, then he/she can not have custody of the child/children until he/she fully graduates from rehab and is off drugs.
Drugs can not only harm the parents, but the child/children as well. If the child sees his/her parent using drugs or under the influence of drugs then he/she will think it's ok to do drugs and the chain of drug abuse will never end.

Drugs and Preganancy
Drugs are not only bad to a woman, but twice as worse for a pregnant woman.
If a woman is to become pregnant then she will have to begin to start living a healthy lifestyle.
If not then as the drug effects the mother, it will also effect the unborn baby twice as bad because the baby is still developing and its immune system is still not complete.
The effects the baby can be born with are fatal.
Examples would be the baby would be born mentally challenged or if it gets bad enough then the baby can be born with fatal body parts or deformed.

Why Are Illegal Drugs Dangerous?
Illegal drugs are essentially bad for everyone, but in particular to children or growing teenagers. Drugs effect a child or a teen more because they're still growing and their body is still changing. Drugs can alter or interfere with those changes and something can go as it's not suppose to. For example, a child on drugs can end up having an underdeveloped brain because the drugs stopped the body from letting the brain grow.
These and many more reasons are why illegal drugs can be dangerous to someone's body, especially young children and teens.

Drug Recovery
Drug addiction is a very easy flaw to fall into.
Although some feel it is impossible to overcome an addiction, there's still help.
One of the most popular addiction would be alcoholism.
Alcoholism is an addiction to liquor or beer.
The most popular recovery program for alcoholism is Alcohol Anonymous [AA].
There are many programs and counseling that help addicts recover.
Most are found in churches and neighborhood community centers.
Finding recovery is easier than most people think and it is out there.

Drug Testing
When injecting drugs into your body, whether they were inhaled, drank, eaten or injected by needles, drugs show up in your body's system.
Many drugs can be easily detected by a simple drug test.
Drugs can be detected by either a blood sample, saliva sample, urine sample, or breath test.
Usually, alcohol tests are tested by breathalyzers, marijuana[since it's inhaled] is usually in the blood and urine system. So this can easily be tested with a urine sample.
Cocain, ecstasy and angel dust, become part of the blood system and can be easily tested with a blood sample.
Although, one doesn't necessarily need to take a drug test to show that they are not sober.
When drunk on alcohol, one tends to slur their words and wobble as they walk. These are sure signs that someone is drunk.
When someone is under the influence of marijuana their eyes mite turn red and diluted.
When on is on cocain, angel dust, or ecstacy their nose mite turn red and possibly start to bleed and their face will either be very excited or very tired.

Teen Perspcription Drug Abuse
Some people experiment with prescription drugs because they think they will help them have more fun, lose weight, fit in, and even study more effectively. Prescription drugs can be easier to get than street drugs. Family members or friends could have a prescription. But prescription drugs are also sometimes sold on the street like other illegal drugs. Though prescription drugs are legal, they can be abused and used like illegal drugs. Anything, even if it's legal, can turn into a drug once it is abused.

The Hazards Of Drugs
Some drug hazards can be the result of addiction and abuse.
When someone becomes dependent on a drug is when the person becomes officially addicted.
Illegal drugs are hard to come along, therefor when purchased are often very expensive, and most people will often turn to crime or prostitution to be able to afford their drug habit.
Another hazard of drug use would be drug overdose, when someone abuses a drug and uses more than they can handle to the point where the body becomes harmed and unconscious is an overdose.
People with overdoses have to be immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
These are only some of the many hazards that come along with the purchase of drugs.
